Meet Pastor Dan
Pastor Dan is passionate about creating vibrant worship experiences that will uplift and inspire you. Pastor Dan’s journey has taken him around the globe, exposing him to diverse cultures from Southern Africa to Central America, from the Middle East to South Asia. His extensive background shapes his approach to ministry, fostering an inclusive and welcoming community where everyone, including you, feels at home. Pastor Dan is married to the Rev. Linda Anderson-Little, Pastor of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Richardson. They are the parents of three adult children. At home, Pastor Dan enjoys cooking. His love for food mirrors his passion for life and faith—both are meant to be savored and shared.

Hailing from Pakistan, Pastor Oliver embodies a deep understanding of the cultural and spiritual heritage cherished by our South Asian members. His primary responsibility at First Presbyterian Church is supporting and nurturing our Pakistani members and families. Pastor Oliver’s passion for preaching and leading worship will infuse you with reverence and joy. His dedication to helping families stay grounded in their Pakistani heritage while embracing their American identity is deeply connected to our church’s mission. Pastor Oliver is married to Nasim and they have two adult children.

Sue is committed to nurturing the faith journeys of all of our members — from the youngest to the oldest. As our Director of Faith Formation, Sue brings energy and creativity to every aspect of her work. Her deep love for children shines through in her dedication to creating faith formation experiences that are not only culturally relevant but also age-appropriate. Before answering the call to Christian education, Sue pursued a career in geology. At home, she shares her life with four pet tortoises, reflecting her nurturing and patient nature. Sue is married to Mark and they have two adult children. Sue can’t wait to meet your children!

Nohemi brings tremendous love and care to our church nursery. With a heart full of love for babies and toddlers, Nohemi creates a safe and welcoming environment where your little ones can thrive. You can rest assured that, during their time in the nursery, your children are well-cared for in the gentle hands of Nohemi.
Meet Linsley
Linsley has a great passion for music and for nurturing musical talent that enriches our church community. As our Director of Music Ministry, Linsley plays a vital role in guiding and overseeing the vast musical landscape of our church. With expertise gained as a middle school choir director in the Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD, Linsley brings a wealth of experience and compassion to his leadership. Linsley’s responsibilities include directing our Chancel Choir and working closely with children and youth to cultivate their musical gifts. Outside of his musical endeavors, Linsley finds joy in family life with his wife Sarah and their daughter Bella.

As our organist, Margaret has been the heart and soul behind the music ministry of our church for more than three decades. Her commitment to helping the congregation sing its faith resonates through her music, lifting our spirits and uniting us in harmony. Margaret’s talents extend beyond the organ loft. Fluent in Spanish, she brings cultural richness to our community and serves as a bridge to diverse voices within our congregation. Margaret is married to Chester and they have two adult children.

Hunter is the keyboard player for our praise band, and he brings great energy and skill to our worship. As a child of our church, Hunter’s musical journey has been nurtured within our community. With vast enthusiasm and infectious energy, Hunter’s contributions to Ruah elevate our worship, infusing every song with passion and purpose.

Cathy is the compassionate heart and organizational backbone of our church family. Her ability to connect with people from all walks of life and to embrace diverse backgrounds and needs, is truly a gift to our community. Simply put, we couldn’t imagine our church without Cathy. Her loving spirit and tireless efforts are the cornerstone of our administrative operations, binding us together in unity and support. Cathy is married to George and they have three adult children.

Dana is the steward of our church’s financial well-being. In her role as Treasurer, Dana displays a remarkable ability to connect with people. With integrity and accuracy, Dana ensures that our funds are managed with care and transparency. Dana’s commitment to our church runs deep, spanning over six decades of faithful membership. Dana has a grown daughter Jamye who is an ordained Presbyterian minister.
